SEO and Content Executive

This is a great opportunity for a SEO and Content Executive to join our growing team in Veygo, making a difference to our web presence as well as shaping the future of Veygo. Everything we do is focused on the customer, without them we’re nothing, and our mission is simple - Putting people in control of their own journey. Right now we have exciting plans for 2022 and need someone to help us focus on SEO and Content so you’ll need to know your core web vitals from your rich snippets. But you’ll have the opportunity to shape the role as you go and put your own stamp on the way you work.

About Veygo

Veygo is an independent company within Admiral Pioneer, a new business within Admiral Group with the objective of seeding, launching, and scaling start-ups.

Veygo is at the forefront of the Mobility as a Service (MaaS) revolution and is growing fast. We want to make life easier for those wishing to share cars, use their own temporarily, or for learner drivers looking to practice in a family member’s or friends’ car. In short, we want to help people be able to get behind the wheel of a car, even if they don’t own one.

Responsibilities

As SEO & Content Executive, you will be responsible for:

• Improving our Google Page Speed scores and moving up the rankings to increase customer acquisition through our Organic channel
• Daily SEO optimizations from keywords, alt tags and meta descriptions to SEO focused content to drive traffic
• Weekly and monthly reporting to showcase the performance in line with marketing objectives
• Collaborating with different areas within the business to reach specific goals as a team
• Day-to-day management of an external agency to support your plans
• Project management to bring your plans to life that will require buy in and sign off from key stakeholders and secure internal investment
• Investigation to source issues or blockers and come up with creative solutions

Requirements 

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Experience delivering strong copies from SEO focused materials to skyscraper content so it becomes a hub of information for drivers
• Strong SEO experience with hands-on experience using platforms like WordPress, GA, GSC and SEM Rush.
• Basic HTML knowledge to support with identifying and fixing issues
• The ability to support with outreach and content promotion
• Data experience to optimize content and understand our customers

• An understanding of PR syndication
• An understanding of schema mark-up
• An understanding of how to target featured snippets in the search results

Our Recruitment Process 

The recruitment process for this position consists of:

• CV Screening
• Task: you will be given a task to complete and send back for review.
• 1st Stage Interview: the interview will focus on both behavioural and cultural skills, conducted by Tom and Simon. 1st stage interviews will be week commencing 7th of February.
• 2nd Stage Interview: the interview will focus on both behavioural and technical skills, conducted by David and Simon. 2nd stage interviews will be week commencing 14th of February. 

Additional Info 

Due to Covid-19 the whole Veygo team is working remotely. We will provide you with everything you need to work comfortably from home. We expect you to be working remotely for the foreseeable future, however, after it's safe to return to the office, we have days when the whole team comes together. You can choose how many days you can be in the office as long as we see your face from time to time.
