About the Role

As Veygo grows, we need someone to play a pivotal role in our marketing strategy. We are looking for someone who can blend analytical experience with the experience of planning and optimising a range of media (offline/online).

The role will be varied and will include:

  • Working with our data and pricing team to enrich our first-party data
  • Getting your hands dirty building new campaigns
  • Working with media publishers to plan targeted audience-level campaigns
  • Analysing and scrutinising campaign effectiveness and reporting back to our management team

We want someone curious about the use of available data, in targeting and retaining customers, and someone passionate about using this to incrementally improve business results.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ownership of media campaigns (offline and online) – including planning, execution, and reporting
  • Overall ownership of the marketing team’s reporting and analytics package
  • Working with our data and pricing team to combine first and third-party data and to make better use of first-party data in our media campaigns
  • Feeding actionable insights into other areas of the team e.g. web optimisation and email campaigns
  • Analysis of:
    • Customer-level data to advise on the cross-channel acquisition and retention strategies
    • Competitors
  • Supporting with general budgeting and scenario planning

About You

|Knowledge, Abilities, and Experience

Must have:

  • Strong working knowledge of marketing platforms such as Google Ads and Facebook advertising
  • Proven experience of planning, building, and optimising online and offline media campaigns
  • Experience of implementing successful growth and/or retention strategies
  • Experience of working with media owners and media agencies, and the ability to scrutinise media plans and build your own media plans
  • Proven experience of reporting results and recommendations to a range of stakeholders
  • Advanced experience in using Google Analytics, including integrating it with first-party data and other systems
  • Experience in using reporting tools such as dataLayer, SQL, BigQuery, Google Data Studio, Tableau, Adobe, and Salesforce
  • Experience in analysing customer-level data and looking at our customer lifetime value

Additional Information

We are happy to accommodate remote working for this position, however, the successful candidate will be required to work from the office a minimum of one day per week.

This role will be supporting and reporting into the Veygo Head of Marketing.
