Website Production Executive - Confused.com

We’re looking for a Website Production Executive who’s passionate about online customer experience to join our website production team at Confused.com.

About the role

You’ll be part of a small, technical team that owns our content management system (CMS). You’ll work with varied teams across our business including tech, marketing and product. And you’ll own a wide range of regular CMS content updates, launches and best-practice initiatives.

This is an all-rounder role in website production. It requires someone with great day-to-day content management experience, flawless attention to detail, technical content management knowledge, excellent people skills and pride in their work.

When you join the website production team, you’ll

• Own and complete day-to-day updates and launches in the Sitecore CMS with our Senior Website Production Executive.
• Focus on quality, delivering a website that’s up to date, compliant and great for our customers to use.
• Confidently answer CMS-based queries and tickets, assisting our content editors with website updates and new CMS builds. This will include formal CMS training and documentation.
• Work closely with the UX team to champion the Confused.com written and visual brand, striving to improve the experience for our customers every day.
• Report website data to the business on a regular basis, sharing insights and suggesting improvements based on data.
• Be part of the conversion rate optimisation team, which includes owning and launching A/B and MVT CMS tests.
• Work with and interpret the needs of various non-technical teams to deliver working solutions.

Who we’re looking for

• You’ve proven experience of working with content management systems. You have substantial experience with supporting multiple content editors and managing and delivering CMS updates and projects, all to the highest standards and within deadlines.
• You’re someone with experience of working in an Agile development environment and working with developers, or you’re keen to develop in this area.
• You can express yourself with clarity, having excellent verbal and written communication skills and patience.

• You’re experienced with web analytics packages – ideally Google Analytics but others are acceptable.
• You’ve excellent and proven organisational skills as well as a track record of working independently and completing tasks to the highest of standards.
• Experience of A/B and MVT testing a bonus.
• Basic HTML skills a bonus.
