We’re looking for a Strategic Relationship Manager to join our Pet Claims Business! This is an exciting and dynamic department, that is in need of an experienced Pet Industry Relationship Manager to help support us during this time of growth and innovation.

You will be responsible for managing our existing key external relationships and the identification and mobilisation of new supplier relationships for our growing Pet business. You will also support the department in ensuring we follow industry best practice & internal group policy in our dealings with our supply chain partners, as well as maximising the benefits that these suppliers bring to the business.

 

As a Strategic Relationship Manager, you will

  • Investigate and identify potential new provider arrangements to enhance our propositions and the service our customers receive
  • Be responsible for the for day-to-day communication, engagement, and interaction with existing suppliers
  • Take ownership of Supplier/Partner quality control and deal with relevant feedback, complaints and queries
  • Extract value from our supply chain and enhance performance across a range of metrics
  • Interact with our customers and stakeholders to seek feedback upon the performance of our suppliers
  • Be responsible for the creation, development and ongoing ownership of suite of MI for key suppliers
  • Report on supplier performance to all relevant stakeholders and ensuring each supplier’s adherence to their SLAs
  • Have input into the strategic development of our product proposition and customer journey within the market
  • Lead commercial and contract negotiation with all suppliers (existing and new suppliers)

 

Ideally you will have

  • Previous supply chain/Partnership experience in the Pet industry
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into reality
  • The ability to communicate effectively to suppliers and internal stakeholders alike
  • The ability to work with a high level of autonomy
  • Excellent organisational skills and proficient analytical skills
  • A strong and experienced negotiator and robust commercial capability
  • Experience in B2B digital collaboration development (not essential)

Salary, Benefits, and Work-Life Balance

We do not have a set salary for this position, as it will be dependent on the successful candidate’s experience. We are happy to see CVs from all candidates who meet the requirements and will be happy to discuss the remuneration package.
