Household Claims MI are hiring! Working with all levels of management within the Household department you will be expected to provide regular and ad hoc reporting along with insights and analysis to help improve department processes and support their strategic goals.

You will be responsible for one or several areas within Household Claims reporting and be expected to maintain the present reporting infrastructure whilst also producing new reporting and insightful and comprehensive ad hoc analysis.  

Main Duties include:

  • Using BigQuery and Looker to:
    • Ensure timely delivery of regular and ad hoc reports.
    • Analyse and interpret data including creating new dashboards and reports
  • You will liaise with management and project managers to understand reporting needs
  • Prioritise outstanding requests and manage stakeholder expectations
  • You will have a passion for optimising existing processes and think creatively to identift ways to improve reporting, including data visualisation.

Experience and Qualifications Required:

  • Experience with data analysis
  • Experience with SQL and/or BigQuery and a keen interest in programming in general
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Good knowledge of the data held within GCP is desirable but not essential
  • Experience with Looker or similar tools is desirable but not essential

Essential skills:

  • A passion for and experience of data analysis
  • Be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  •  Ability to interact directly with end users at all levels
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and creatively approach situations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to deliver high quality work within deadlines
  • Flexible approach, highly motivated and willing to contribute to areas outside of direct responsibilities
  • Willingness to challenge and question processes to understand business needs

Interview Process

There will be a two stage interview process, Excel test and technical interview.
