Based in the Group People Experience, and reporting to the Group Head of Talent, this role will support the design, delivery, implementation and monitoring of development projects within the team, like:
- Get Discovered (2nd edition) – Hi-potentials programme to empower female leadership
- Moonshot – Senior Management upskilling programme
- Reverse Mentoring Programme for ethnic under represented groups
- Other transformational projects in the Talent Development area in coordination with other members of the Talent Team
One core activity will be to manage the Senior Leaders development cycle, from the analysis of the demand, through macro and micro-design, direct delivery of some training and work in partnership with the UK and international Learning&Development teams, to make it a solid and structured plan, and answer to bespoke/customized needs.
The role involves strong collaboration with the European & UK Heads of People Service, local People Service teams and L&D Representatives, external vendors/providers, Communication and Business Partners functions across the business.
All the programmes in the roadmap are Group projects, managed in an agile framework, working with an international team and with a high level of exposure and opportunity of understanding our international businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex HR/Development programmes at a Group Level
- Coordinate the senior leader development / upskilling through group programmes when appropriate
- Implement a development cycle to analyse needs, connect them to the Admiral strategy and to support people growth and mobility
- Work with senior leaders to boost career and mobility at a bespoke basis
- Being part of the agile framework and making sure it is respected in the roadmap
Key Skills and Experience
- L&D and HR Experience in the design, delivery/implementation and monitoring
- Organised and able to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a context of rapidly changing priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal, at all levels
- Ability to think on feet and “outside the box” where necessary and ask, “Is there a better way?”, and innovate
- Happy to take the lead and an effective decision maker
- Self-motivated and delivery focused with excellent time management skills
- Must be competent in Office packages (including excel and PowerPoint).
Desirables
- Experience as a trainer/in the delivery
- Experience in working with international entities
- Experience using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Experience working with senior stakeholders across the business
- Experience on large projects and programmes
- Experience of implement project process and frameworks
About the Team
We are an international team, based across and working with all of our international entities. This exciting opportunity is open to anyone across our European entities, as we work flexibly. Should you be based outside of the UK, recurrent travel to the UK will be required, to work with the wider team and stakeholders.
