"About Ancillaries
Household and Landlord Ancillaries is an exciting area that is experiencing growth and opportunities as we seek to increase the size of the business. The ancillaries included are Boiler Emergency Cover, Home Emergency Cover, Family Legal Protection, Landlord Emergency Cover and Landlord Legal Protection.
We are looking to recruit a Full Time Product Executive to support the Ancillaries team to achieve project deadlines, complete business as usual tasks, and liaise with suppliers, which in turn work towards the overall Household Product strategy. The successful candidate will have great communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving strong results, will be passionate about providing a great service for our customers and be willing to go the extra mile in supporting the team, and developing themselves.
The role varies in tasks and consists of managing the BAU aspect as well as improving things for the better. This needs an overall view on all aspects and requires managing stakeholders and negotiating for change.
Responsibilities
- Become a Product expert; understanding how product features benefit our customers
- Keep up to date with market threats, industry, and competitor trends. Identify opportunities and scope out areas of investigation
- Monitoring MI on how the product is performing from a customer’s, business and suppliers’ perspective and identify areas for improvement
- Understand how proposed changes would impact the customer outcome, as well as the commercial and operational impact on the business
- Research, assimilate and present information to support recommendations in a suitable format (slides, formal papers, etc)
- Creating good relationships and build a strong network across the key business functions
- Be able to work under pressure and to achieve set daily / monthly target
- Identify possible new areas of growth for the Ancillaries and look for areas to differentiate the product and give it a unique selling point.
Requirements
- Commercial awareness
- Numerate, with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to forge and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Effective negotiator and resilient
- Positive, excellent team player and ability to work closely with others to deliver results
- Good knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Self-motivated and prepared to take a hands-on approach
- Organised and able to prioritise workload in line with tight deadlines and working effectively under pressure

Salary, Benefits, and Work-Life Balance
