We have an exciting opportunity to join our Regulatory Advice team during a period of growth!

Overview

In this role you will provide compliance advice to the UK Motor, Home, Pet and Travel Product teams and Pricing Teams relating to:

  • Designing new products
  • Launching new products or improvements to existing products
  • Monitoring the performance of existing products and suggesting areas for improvement
  • Promoting fair pricing practices including fees and commissions 
  • Supporting Fair Value Assessment reviews
  • Reviewing changes to policy documents

Role objectives

Ensure that Admiral’s UK insurance products are developed and managed in line with internal standards and regulatory expectations, including how they are priced.

Main duties

  • To support and advise on the development of new products and propositions in line with Admiral’s Product Oversight and Governance (POG) policy and standards.
  • To support and advise on the management of Admiral’s existing UK insurance products and any consequent changes in line with POG policy and standards.
  • To review and support the implementation of any regulatory changes relevant to Admiral’s UK products or pricing practices and any other regulatory duties should they arise.
  • To analyse relevant product management information to identify any issues and support product areas to address any gaps.
  • To provide clear, concise and timely advice on ad hoc matters raised by product and pricing teams.
  • To continually propagate a customer-centric culture throughout product and pricing teams.

Skills and experience

  • Strong level of knowledge of regulatory requirements in respect of Insurance products
  • Good working knowledge of regulatory requirements in respect of pricing
  • Able to balance the needs of customers, the business and the regulator
  • To be able to build positive working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills
  • Good communication and influencing skills

About the Team

The Regulatory Advice team sits within the wider Customer and Conduct Team and caries out a wide variety of compliance activities across all products.  The Product and Pricing Business Partners team forms one of four areas within the Regulatory Advice team and there will be opportunity to work alongside the wider team to gain further knowledge of the areas Regulatory Advice are involved with. 

The team has an exciting and varied role within the company.  We are a close team who support each other and wish to find and develop top talent to continue to provide excellent advice and support to the business.

We do not have a set salary for this position, as it will be dependent on the successful candidate’s experience. We are happy to see CVs from all candidates who meet the requirements and will be happy to discuss the remuneration package.
