InfoSec is looking for a driven Project Manager to join a thriving team of professional Information Security leaders and take ownership of the delivery of exciting and critical programmes of work in the Cloud Security area. The Programme Manager will report to the Infosec Delivery Lead.

The role of the Infosec Project Manager is critical to the delivery of Infosec projects, overseeing and managing the successful delivery of Security initiatives and representing the Infosec interests of projects in other parts of the business.

Working in a fast-moving environment, a successful Infosec Project Manager will be highly motivated and energetic, demonstrate strong soft skills, excellent stakeholder management, excellent supplier management and be a skilful negotiator.

Main Duties

The Infosec Project Manager will be responsible for successfully delivering projects within the Information Security Delivery function, reporting to the Project Sponsor and under the guidance of the Security Delivery Management Team. The Infosec Project Manager will be responsible for adhering to the Project Delivery Framework and delivering projects within time, cost and quality criteria. The Infosec Project Manager will also be responsible for coordinating the security-related activities of major projects and programmes undertaken elsewhere in the business.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management:

  • Proactive ownership of project deliverables, maintaining a focus on quality.
  • Management of stakeholder relationships and communication.
  • Development and ownership of the project plan.
  • Ownership and proactive management of project risks, issues, resources and changes.
  • Ownership and chairing of project-level meetings (steering, progress, ad-hoc).
  • Input to and involvement in project-level meetings (steering, progress, ad-hoc).
  • Clear, accurate and concise project reporting.
  • Adherence to the defined governance framework.
  • Support other Project Managers toward successful delivery of the portfolio projects.
  • Resource Management.
  • Key Milestone Management.
  • Budget management of projects up to £500k.
  • Delivery of projects using Waterfall or Agile.

Security Delivery Management:

  • Proactive stakeholder management- acting as the first point of contact for IT project teams.
  • Planning and coordination of Information Security activities throughout the lifecycle of IT projects.
  • Negotiating with Infosec Project Managers to ensure the resource requirements of IT projects are met.
  • Clear, accurate and concise project reporting into both Infosec and IT.
