We are looking for someone to join our Human Resources department to provide a first-class service to managers and employees across the business, working alongside the HR Business Partner (HRBP). You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all HR processes, policies and projects by delivering professional guidance, coaching and support to colleagues and managers.

 

About you:

· Confident and self-motivated

· CIPD qualified with experience in a generalist environment

· Self-starter and commercially astute

· Experienced to at least level 5 but ideally level 7

· With a post-grad diploma

· Experience in a commercial and/or financial sector

 

About the role:

· You will deputise for the HRBP.

· You’ll provide first-line HR support across the business, giving accurate and comprehensive HR advice on employee relations and employment law issues including maternity, short and long-term sickness absence, flexible working requests and probation extensions.

· You’ll escalate matters to the HRBP wherever necessary.

· You’ll work with the HRBP on ER case work, covering matters including grievance, sickness, absence, performance, disciplinary proceedings and dismissal.

· You’ll support the HRBP across a range of activities, such as: HR and OD interventions supporting employee engagement and performance; HR projects such as remuneration and reward; the co-ordination of people manager meetings, presenting as and where necessary; and collating the HR scorecard, statistics and metrics.

· You’ll manage the development and implementation of new HR and recruitment policies and procedures, making sure they are aligned to business transformation.

· You’ll update and maintain HRIS system data.

· You’ll process and induct new starters and leavers.

· You’ll support the training and learning requirements for employees.
