Veygo is an independent company built and owned by Admiral operating within the Admiral Pioneer business. Admiral Pioneer is a new business within Admiral Group with the objective of seeding, launching, and scaling new businesses that will become one of the growth engines for Admiral in the future.

What kind of person are we looking for?
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Operational Excellence leader to drive a continuous improvement (CI) and customer centric culture, own critical change projects, deliver cost out initiatives and drive efficiency gains across the Operation and wider business.
Reporting into the COO, you’ll be a Lean Six Sigma (LSS) leader tasked with identifying opportunities to improve, creating a portfolio of continuous improvement initiatives that will be delivered using established delivery methodologies, tools and techniques.
You’ll be responsible for training and educating others in the basics of LSS, the need to understand LSS principles and how it can be applied to their own roles to help drive the business forward.
You’ll need to be comfortable working at a fast pace, with ambiguity and in an ever-changing landscape that is associated with a young and ambitious company. Furthermore, you will not be intimidated by the need to deliver a year on year 3:1 return on investment for your function, to ensure it remains a viable proposition.
You’ll excel at data collection, analysis, and reporting of data, whilst overseeing a small team to deliver business goals and managing the development, execution and maintenance of SOPs. You’ll also support the front-line operational roles in analysing performance, identifying ways to improve leveraging tools such as Gemba, DILO, SPC charts, RCA, Ishikawa, A3 and 3Cs.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading a team of two Operational Excellence Consultants acting as a coach and mentor on LSS ways of working
- Creating and sustaining a continuous improvement culture whilst designing and embedding a Veygo specific LSS operating model/methodology.
- Effectively communicating the LSS way of working to stakeholders, teams and key users
- Defining, maintaining, and delivering a portfolio of change initiatives that drive the business forward
- Creating, implementing and maintaining all front-line SOPs and process flows redesigning and retraining any continuous improvement ideas to ensure consistency on the front line
- Optimising existing IT systems and ways of working
- Working with the Portfolio, Operations, Product, Growth and IT to ensure delivery of new initiatives, products and systems as seamlessly as possible
- Delivering tangible and validated process and financial benefits to ensure the 3:1 RoI
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience of identifying and leading a portfolio of change initiatives with demonstrable business benefits
- A LSS qualification of Green belt and above, or equivalent
- Experience of creating/leading a CI culture and training others
- An understanding of front-line operations and financial services is desirable but not essential
- Proven experience of developing strong stakeholder relationships across all levels
- Proven financial / cost management capabilities, including budget management, business case creation, data analysis

Salary, Benefits and Work-Life Balance
