"InfoSec is looking for a driven Programme Manager to join a thriving team of professional Information Security leaders and take ownership of the delivery of exciting and critical programmes of work in the Cloud Security area. The Programme Manager will report to the Infosec Delivery Lead.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in implementing relevant-level cloud security programmes. The candidate needs to be driven by success and highly proactive in anticipating issues, solving problems, planning for change and supporting others. They will also need excellent organisational skills and excellent communication at all levels. The ability to motivate a team of wide-ranging skills and personalities is crucial. We are looking for candidates with energy and drive with a proven track record in agile and waterfall environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the project delivery teams, agile squads and business stakeholders to ensure quality and timely deliverables.
- Proactive ownership of all programme deliverables, maintaining a focus on quality.
- Management of stakeholder relationships and communication.
- Take ownership of building and maintaining the programme delivery plan for execution.
- Supporting relevant teams within Admiral to ensure in-flight projects and initiatives are delivered according to the agreed delivery roadmap and maintaining a consistent and challenging pace.
- Managing the interdependencies across the programme as well as across other stakeholder portfolios, taking ownership of the prioritisation process.
- Clear and concise programme and project reporting.
- Mentoring and guiding the project managers and squad leads working on this programme.
- Help others to check and improve the quality of work.
- Support the activities of other members of the team.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Proven leadership skills to drive change and deliver business outcomes.
- Excellent Stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Managing complex portfolios and programmes end to end.
- Extensive experience in planning, budgeting, financial management and governance.
- Strong understanding of current and horizon technology.
- Business and IT transformation and change experience.
- Experience in both agile and waterfall environments.
- Experience in GCP, Azure and AWS cloud technologies (preferred).
- Experience working as an Information Security Portfolio/ Programme Manager (preferred).
Preferred Professional Training/Certification:
- Programme Management qualification (e.g. MSP).
- Professional Security qualification (e.g. CISSP, CCSP etc).
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification (e.g. Scrum Master, Product Owner/Product Manager, Leading SAFe) or other agile methodology certification.
