Data Protection Executive

Main Duties
- Supporting the business by providing legal and technical knowledge and expertise, in the areas of Privacy and Data Protection
- Carrying out Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) on Group’s new products and services, mitigating data protection & privacy risks faced by the Group
- Actively contributing to discussions and meetings on Data Protection & Privacy issues that the team face
- Assisting in keeping accurate and up-to-date the Group’s Privacy Notices, Templates and Policies
- Helping improving the functioning of the organisation’s risk management
- Keeping an eye on the latest legislative activities
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Good academic credentials – related degree preferred
- Experience in Data Protection & Privacy
- Passion to learn and be excited by new things
- Attention to detail, with an analytical mindset
- Well-organised with excellent multi-tasking skills
- Critical and out-of-the-box thinking
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workloads.
- Works well within a team and supports others

This is a hybrid role which requires attendance to our Cardiff office twice a month.

Salary, Benefits, and Work-Life Balance
We do not have a set salary for this position, as it will be dependent on the successful candidate’s experience. We are happy to see CVs from all candidates who meet the requirements and will be happy to discuss the remuneration package.
