SEO Manager

As an SEO strategist, you'll lead the activities of our in house SEO team and external agencies, developing long term strategies to increase the number of visitors to our website and achieve high-ranking placements in the results page of search engines.

By generating more search driven leads for the business you’ll open up new opportunities for increasing growth and profit.

As an SEO Manager you will

• Develop optimisation strategies that increase Admiral’s search visibility and ranking position to increase customer acquisition through our organic channel
• Manage the delivery of our SEO strategies alongside our PR, Content and Social Media leads, presenting the SEO roadmap, updates and results to key stakeholders in the business
• Forecast SEO driven quotes and sales and set annual targets, reviewing progress and taking action as required
• Lead the analysis of our own website content and competitor SEO activities, providing data-led recommendations for optimisation that will drive performance
• Oversee the SEO budget spend, ensuring that accurate financial records are kept and value for money from suppliers is delivered
• Manage the relationship with our retained SEO agency and coordinate monthly cross collaboration meetings with internal teams to drive SEO success 
• Work alongside Brand Communications team to ensure all content is optimised for search and visibility is increasing
• Line manage the SEO Executive, taking responsibility for their development and providing guidance to other team members where relevant 
• Work with the SEO Executive to set and benchmark measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in marketing efforts
• Manage projects within tight deadlines, ensuring that internal processes are followed and the relevant approvals are in place
• Evaluate creative solutions to performance issues, persuading cross department stakeholders to consider and prioritise SEO improvements
• Ensure that insightful reports are produced and any changes or future plans are communicated to stakeholders
• Identify opportunities for optimisation tests of new or existing landing pages, utilising key learnings to shape future SEO strategies and tactics
• Monitor key performance metrics and track SEO strategy results, working with wider teams to identify and deliver improvements
• Keep up to speed with changes within the SEO industry and changes to Google’s algorithm
• You’ll be expected to complete regular company-wide internal training as well as any external training relating to the role

What we are looking for

• A strong SEO experience with hands-on experience using platforms like a CMS, GA, GSC and SEM Rush and some HTML knowledge.
• A solid understanding of the wider marketing context with experience integrating SEO with other digital marketing channels.
• Enthusiastic and proactive person with strong leadership skills and the ability to influence decision makers. 
• A highly literate person with excellent interpersonal skills and a creative thinker who can work accurately under pressure. 
• A great team player and approachable people manager.

Salary, Benefits and Work-Life Balance

We do not have a set salary for this position, as it will be dependent on the successful candidate’s experience. We are happy to see CVs from all candidates who meet the requirements and will be happy to discuss the remuneration package.
