Senior Learning and Development Co-ordinator - Group Risk, Compliance & Privacy (GRCP)
We are looking for a Senior Learning and Development Co-ordinator to join a new area within the Group Risk, Compliance & Privacy Function. You’ll be reporting directly to the Group Risk, Compliance & Privacy Communications and Training Senior Manager, with plenty of support in a collaborative working environment.
We’re looking for someone who is keen and able to support our Senior Manager in developing and coordinating the delivery of a learning and development framework for corporate governance-based teams across Admiral Group, as part of a wider Risk Enhancement Strategy project.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to showcase their innovative, creative and organisational skills via the creation of an impactful ‘centre of excellence’ for the learning and development needs of Admiral Group’s GRCP colleagues. The role requires dynamic cross-functional interactions and partnerships and will therefore, give the successful candidate exposure to the UK, EU and US businesses within the Group.
The role is a hybrid-based role within the Group Risk Central Support team, which sits within the Group Risk, Compliance & Privacy Function.
Main Duties
- Deliver a pilot development programme to the initial Compliance-based role cohort
- Work with the GRCP senior leaders and managers and corporate governance leads across the entities, help the Communications and Training Senior Manager deliver a full Governance Academy framework and operating model to all employees in corporate governance roles.
- Deliver other talent/development initiatives aimed at upskilling GRCP colleagues and equipping them for future career progression
- Build an ‘Admiral GRCP career pathway’ – e.g. role profiling, skillset mapping, progression routes, learning resources etc.
- Coordinate logistics of GRCP mentorship and secondment initiatives across the Group’s GRCP community
- Support digital training such as LinkedIn learning pathways
- Maintain content of GRCP Training SharePoint, ensuring that all information and resources are up-to-date
- Create feedback forms and collate feedback and other M.I.
- Assist the GRCP Communications & Training Senior Manager in other ad-hoc tasks and initiatives to support the Function’s ongoing improvement.
Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Knowledge of key activities in the compliance area.
- Experience with dealing with various levels of stakeholders including senior managers and leaders across the Group.
- Proven track record with developing/delivering key projects or tasks from incubation to maturity.
- Experience working on learning and development initiatives within previous roles or companies.

This is a hybrid role which requires attendance to our Cardiff office twice a month, with the potential to increase.

Salary, Benefits, and Work-Life Balance
