Marketing Executive

You’ll be working as part of the ECRM (Electronic Customer Relationship Management) team in our award-winning Marketing department. Our team purpose is to engage customers with a range of direct marketing campaigns to drive cross-sell, improve retention and customer satisfaction, and promote digital adoption across Admiral’s expanding portfolio of products.

Our focus is on email marketing, while also testing new initiatives for channels such as SMS, push notification and Direct Mail, finding the right channel mix for the individual customer journey. We aim to ensure we are contacting the right customers, with the right message, at the right time, via the right channel.

This role will be a great opportunity to get involved in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and really put your stamp on an expanding work stream.

To support the business’ focus on new products and product growth, we have created a new role which will work closely with the Product and Partnership Marketing Teams helping to support Travel Insurance, Home insurance and Landlord Insurance by running email campaigns, optimising through tests, and creating reports.
 

As a Marketing Executive you will

• Plan, implement and optimise marketing programmes for the Admiral Group. This will include taking ownership of at least one of your own marketing ad-hoc or triggered programmes, working with internal departments
• Manage, review and optimise campaigns through continual test and learn activity
• Monitor daily email performance, pro-actively make suggestions to the team for campaign improvements and future test activity
• Maintain monthly results and log monthly email marketing expenditure 
• Manage email campaigns for at least one programme or project
• Work with product Marketing teams, product teams, the wider marketing team, and contact centre departments to develop campaigns to help support and achieve business targets
• End-to-end campaign delivery, this includes campaign planning, practical implementation, writing/sourcing copy, liaising with in house Studio team to create bespoke campaign content and ensuring campaigns meet FCA requirements
• Monitor plans against actual results & spend. Report any deviations and proactively make recommendations to improve performance
• Work with members of the ECRM team to co-ordinate campaigns, including scheduling mailings, requesting and checking data, coordinating compliance sign off and scheduling any test activity

We are looking for someone who has

• Marketing knowledge or experience, and a willingness to learn the mechanics of ECRM
• An interest in Email marketing and digital communications
• Process driven with keen attention to detail
• HTML, Java and workflow building experience is a bonus, but not essential, however this is a specialized role so technical aptitude is essential

Additional Information

• Interviews for this role will take place week commencing 22nd August
• The role is based in Cardiff with a Hybrid approach to working, 1 or 2 days in the office. We will give you everything you need to work comfortably from home.
