Marketing Executive - ECRM

You’ll be working as part of the ECRM (Electronic Customer Relationship Management) team in our award winning Marketing department. Our team purpose is to engage customers with a range of direct marketing campaigns to drive cross-sell, improve retention and customer satisfaction, and promote digital adoption across Admiral’s expanding portfolio of products.

Our focus is on email marketing, while also testing new initiatives for channels such as SMS, push notification and Direct Mail, finding the right channel mix for the individual customer journey. We aim to ensure we are contacting the right customers, with the right message, at the right time, via the right channel.

As a Marketing Executive you will

• Plan, implement and optimise customer insight programmes for the Admiral Group.
• Be a point of contact for the Risk Event remediation process from ECRM
• Manage, review and optimise personalised campaigns through continual test and learn activity
• Monitor email performance, pro-actively make suggestions to the team for campaign improvements and future test activity
• Maintain monthly results and log monthly email marketing expenditure  

This will include

• Working with Customer Insight and Market Insight teams to develop campaigns to help support and achieve business customer satisfaction targets  
• Develop email communications for the customer insight panel and Trustpilot review campaigns
• Working with the Market Insight team to gain insight into existing and new products Admiral will bring to market
• Identify positive sentiment triggers to promote our Refer a Friend programme to existing customers
• Identify target audiences for surveys and feedback questionnaires
• Restrict email fatigue by ensuring customers are only contacted for relevant feedback
• Working closely with the Group Risk team to ensure timely and accurate customer communications, attending meetings to ensure aware of potential support required from ECRM
• End-to-end campaign delivery, this includes campaign planning, practical implementation, writing/sourcing copy, liaising with in house Studio team to create bespoke campaign content and ensuring campaigns meet FCA requirements
• Monitor and report results and proactively make recommendations to improve performance.
• Work with other members of the ECRM team to co-ordinate campaigns, including scheduling mailings, requesting and checking data, coordinating compliance sign off and scheduling any test activity.

You ideally will have

• A process driven mind with a keen attention to detail
• HTML, Java and workflow building experience is a bonus, but not essential, however this is a specialized role so technical aptitude is essential
• Effective relationship management skills e.g. agencies, internal stakeholders
• Marketing knowledge or experience, and a willingness to learn the mechanics of ECRM
• Interest in Email marketing and digital communications
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to study campaign results and make suggestions for future campaign changes and enhancements
• A proactive attitude with the ability to use initiative & generate ideas
• The ability to learn quickly on the job and to work autonomously on own projects as well as part of the ECRM team
• Experience in email marketing, using Adobe Campaign (or similar email service provider platform) desirable, but not essential

Additional Information

• Interviews for this role will take place week commencing 1st August
• The role is based in Cardiff with a Hybrid approach to working, 1 or 2 days in the office. We will give you everything you need to work comfortably from home.
