"We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Marketing Campaign Manager to join the ECRM (Electronic Customer Relationship Management) team at an exciting time for Admiral Marketing.
With a renewed strategy and purpose, focusing on the customer, brand, marketing performance and staff, there is an opportunity to make a substantial impact across a wider suite of products.
As a Marketing Campaign Manager in ECRM you will
- Take ownership of the beginning and end of the customer life cycle including campaigns focused on brand perception, acquisition partnerships, hot prospecting (quote conversion), retention of existing customers and lapsed customers
- Develop annual campaign, optimisation, and testing plans to achieve sales targets and department KPIs
- Report on and monitor campaigns against target, presenting results and recommendations
- Utilise data for enhanced automation, personalisation, and improved customer experience
- Support with department risk mitigation and remediation
- Line manage three direct reports
Workstream ownership
- Develop and implement ECRM campaigns through all stages of the process including audience identification, workflow creation, copy and creative development, quality assurance and regulatory sign off.
- Identify new opportunities and campaigns to support delivery of business objectives
- Create testing and continuous improvement plans for campaigns to ensure best in class results
- Feed into creation of annual sales targets for channel
- Drive performance against target, reporting on at product and campaign level and proactively make recommendations to improve performance
Stakeholder Management
- Work with agencies to ensure Admiral’s email campaigns adhere to best practice and make full use of current technologies
- Work with internal stakeholders (such as product managers, compliance, MI) to plan and deliver marketing campaigns against agreed deadlines
- Present results and findings, producing presentations and reports in digestible format for target audience
Data management
- Support with segmentation and propensity projects to ensure campaigns are targeted at relevant audiences
- Ensure GDPR and regulatory requirements are adhered to
Ideally you will have
- Strong knowledge of email and customer relationship marketing
- Experience developing marketing campaigns from start to finish
- Testing, experimentation, and marketing optimisation
- Development of sale projections and conversion funnels
- Interpretation of data and marketing KPIs
- Experience using Adobe Campaign or similar
- Familiarity with HTML, CCS & Javascript
- Experience working in a regulated industry and understanding of FCA and Data privacy laws
- Experience briefing and managing technical requirements

Admiral Marketing is a centralised business area, responsible for the development and guardianship of the Admiral Brand, generating interest across our range of products and supporting initiatives to increase customer value.
The ECRM team purpose is to engage customers and prospects with a range of direct marketing campaigns to drive acquisition and cross-sell, improve retention and customer satisfaction, and promote digital adoption across Admiral’s expanding portfolio of products.
Our focus is on email marketing, while also testing new initiatives for channels such as SMS, push notification and direct mail, finding the right channel mix for the individual customer journey. We aim to ensure we are contacting the right customers, with the right message, at the right time, via the right channel.
