Growth Marketing Manager - Admiral Pioneer

Location isn't an issue as this role is remote with the occasional trip to the office.

About the Role
This is our first hire for marketing and growth directly into our first Future of Work business focusing on providing new services and products to small business owners. You’ll be responsible for the day to day doing for the marketing of the products, and accountable for the reporting of the resulting numbers.

We’re building a community of growth and marketing team members across all of the Admiral Pioneer businesses as well as a central Studio team which means you’ll get to work with, and have your work supported by, a wide range of talented colleagues.

You’ll be responsible for:

Contributing to the growth strategy and ideas backlog. You'll build a deep understanding of our customer profiles and their needs and match it with new acquisition ideas, helping to prioritise the most effective channels

Manage our day-to-day channels to deliver ever improving customer acquisition cost, working across paid social, paid search, SEO, price comparison, affiliate, partnerships and anything else you want to test

Developing and delivering growth tactics and experiments to drive improvements across the whole customer experience. You won’t be limited to the top of the funnel, and instead will seek the best improvements wherever they are.

Work closely with our Growth Lead and the wider growth/marketing community in Admiral Pioneer companies to create long term growth strategy for the small business start-up.

About You

Experience and Skills You Might Have (we’d expect you to have about two thirds of these):

• Working with Data - You’ll be doing a lot of analysis and data crunching to work out the effectiveness and direction of our work, so having a head for numbers is great.
• Thinking Creatively - As well as the data, you’ll need to bring the counterbalance of creative thinking, coming up with new ideas to test and totally new approaches to our business problems.
• Working at Pace – We’re building multiple businesses rapidly, so you’ll need to be comfortable working with a high degree of ambiguity as we move fast and iterate.
• Experience in working with start up or scale up business
