"We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our UK Finance team, working within the IT & Change Investment space and reporting to the Head of Finance Business Partnering. This is an exciting new role at the heart of the team that support over £200m of our spend, and we’re looking for a person who will enjoy working with stakeholders across the organisation to drive strategic decision making to improve the customer and commercial outcomes in a fast-paced business.
What you’ll be doing
You will be leading a small team and will be responsible for understanding and explaining financial performance to the business, and working with stakeholders to deliver robust forecasts and business cases. You’ll be responsible for your team delivering month end accounting, reporting and analysis, including the management of the Fixed Asset Register and the associated balance sheet entries. We are always looking to develop and improve our processes and you’ll be responsible for managing and driving some of this change.
About you
You’ll:
- Be an experienced Accountant with the relevant professional qualifications (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
- Have a background in business partnering, ideally in Technology and/or Change Investment
- Be experienced in the presentation of financial information to senior stakeholders and able to take a strategic perspective
- Be comfortable challenging senior stakeholders and working collaboratively with teams across Finance and the wider business
- Have strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Have demonstrated experience of team leadership, developing and empowering your colleagues to achieve required outcomes
