"We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to join our Online team. Working across multiple projects you’ll be a hybrid UX and UI Designer. You’ll be passionate about creating user centric customer experiences and comfortable leading projects and presenting to clients.
Working closely with other Designers, Product Owners, and Developers, the role will involve all aspects of design, including creating and developing responsive, interactive designs for all digital platforms from initial scamps to final delivery.
You will create effortless digital customer experiences, refining our digital products, and bringing our digital vison/strategy to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and wireframes
- Design graphic user interface elements (menus, tabs, and widgets)
- Develop UI mock-ups Using Sketch and InVision to quickly create and iterate clickable prototypes for validation
- Create original graphic designs
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal and external stakeholders
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems
- Conduct user research, followed by adjustments based on feedback
- Adhere to design standards
Skills and Experience
- Experience in both a UX and UI roles, working across the entire design process
- Up-to-date knowledge of Sketch, XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision, Zeplin, and wireframing
- Understanding of UI best practices for mobile and web across all platforms
- Experience of collaborative working in a multi-disciplined environment
- Follow an iterative User-Centred Design Process
- Experience working within agile development teams
- Understanding of design patterns, such as atomic design
- Maintain DMS for multiple brands
- An innovator who will actively pursue opportunities to develop new skills and extend expertise
- Ability to work well within a team and to obtain co-operation and adapt to change
- Experience working in an environment with a test and learn mindset, focused on continuous improvement
