The Admial Business Team

Main Responsibilities

• Develop Frontend Applications using NextJS, React and Sanity.io
• Develop Backend applications using NodeJS in a serverless architecture
• Champion Communities of practice and development standards across our development team
• Play an active role in agile ceremonies such as retrospectives, sprint planning and stand-ups
• Using your experience collaborate on creating new solutions for our growing tech stack
• Communicate with stakeholders across the business both technical and non-technical
• Coaching and mentoring more junior members of the team

Required Experience

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong Organisation and Time management skills
• Ability to work independently, proactively and as part of a wider team
• Ability to design solutions and cater for non-functional requirements such as performance and security

Significant commercial experience in the following areas:

• Development using JavaScript libraries and frameworks (Next.js and React preferred)
• Development of serverless applications (Node.js and serverless.io preferred)
• Development of REST and/or GraphQL API's
• PostgreSQL and PGAdmin (Or similar relational database experience)
• Working in a DevOps environment, containerising, deploying, scaling applications and micro services using CI/CD pipeline

Desirable Experience

• Experience working in the Insurance sector or other highly regulated sectors
• Experience with Salesforce Integration

Please note: This is a hybrid role, with a requirement to work on site in Caridff 2 days per week.
