Are you an experienced, ambitious, and enthusiastic data professional? We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our fast-growing and innovative Travel Insurance Product team at Admiral.

Travel Insurance is a key component of Admiral Insurance’s diversification strategy. Pricing and data are crucial to our success. With the ever-increasing volume, velocity, and variety of information, data plays a pivotal role in navigating complexity, delivering insightful reporting, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring our product is priced rationally, accurately, and fairly.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, coach, and manage data analysts.
• Partner closely with stakeholders to deliver in-depth, actionable insights.
• Conduct advanced analyses on large datasets.
• Make data-driven recommendations to improve products, processes, and services.
• Collaborate with Tech to report bugs and support functional signoffs.
• Stay updated on new tools, technologies, and methodologies.
• Maintain a high standard of data quality.

About You

Qualifications:

• A degree, 2:1 (or equivalent) or above in a STEM or strong numeric discipline.

Key Skills:

• Strong knowledge of data and/or insurance processes.
• Experience in delivering business cases or leading change.
• Experience in supporting and mentoring others.
• Ability to analyse data and provide operational and strategic insights.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive and collaborative approach to work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to align data requirements to necessary outputs.
• Highly motivated and able to work on your own initiative.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions and priorities.

Interview Process

The interview process includes a test and a two-stage interview via Teams.

Location

The role is a hybrid role with an expectation to regularly attend our Cardiff office.
