About the role

We are recruiting a Risk Analytics Lead to sit within our Financial & Credit Risk function. This is a critical role with responsibility for shaping our IFRS 9 Impairment modelling and reporting, stress testing capabilities, and credit risk analytics. The role holder will guide a small team, where you will:

• Lead our IFRS 9 modelling activity, ensuring models are kept up to date with industry best practice along with being compliant.
• Deliver reporting and insight of monthly impairment figures to the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Risk Officer, and our Provision Working Group.
• Support the evolution of our stress testing and forecasting capability.
• Provide expert analytical support across the CRO team.
• Facilitate conversation and analysis of our lending portfolios via deep analytics.
• Support and coach a team of analysts.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in risk analytics, credit risk management, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS 9 standards and stress testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in statistical software and risk modelling tools.
• Ability to communicate complex risk concepts clearly

Desirable:

• Motor finance, unsecured loans and/or mortgage experience.
• Portfolio analysis and credit strategy background
