Join Admiral Pioneer as a Risk Analyst and become a key player in our mission to build bold, innovative businesses. You’ll be part of a small but mighty Risk & Compliance team, working across multiple start-ups and scale-ups, helping us grow responsibly without slowing down.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Risk Analyst, you’ll dive into the heart of risk, compliance, and data protection—supporting our second line of defence and helping build frameworks that empower rather than restrict. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone early in their career who’s hungry to learn, grow, and make a real impact.

• Drive delivery of our annual Risk Plan, spanning risk management, compliance monitoring, and data protection.
• Conduct risk assessments and thematic reviews to uncover insights and opportunities.
• Prepare sharp, insightful materials for our Risk Management Committee and Board.
• Support regulatory submissions and help us stay aligned with FCA and GFSC expectations.
• Maintain and evolve our risk registers, compliance trackers, and privacy records.
• Champion business continuity planning across our ventures.
• Stay ahead of regulatory changes and translate them into practical, actionable advice.
• Collaborate across Pioneer to embed a culture of smart risk management through training, workshops, and best practice sharing.

What You’ll Bring

• Some experience in Risk, Compliance, Audit, Data Protection or governance is great—but not essential.
• A genuine interest in building a career in risk and governance.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills, with a sharp eye for detail.
• Commercial awareness and adaptability—able to balance oversight with business agility.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A love for variety, pace, and learning in a start-up setting.
