As a Product Owner in the Digital Product team you will work alongside the current Product Owners, supporting the implementation and measurement of continuous change across our Customer Service, New Business, Claims, Quote and MyAccount journeys. 

Aligned to our key objectives you will work closely with key stakeholders to gather, analyse, prioritise, record in detail, and communicate requirements for change.  Working closely with IT, Operations and Test & Discovery you’ll help ensure quality of delivery.  Then measure performance and provide communication to stakeholders around the business.

Put more simply, we provide the change roadmap/strategy, the requirements, and we test and measure performance.  I.T. carry out the technical development and we are supported in delivery management by our Squad Leads.

About the team

We’re an enthusiastic team, created to serve the rapidly increasing customer demand for online services. We’re focussed on improving all areas of the online customer experience for our established products (Car, Home and Van) and potential new products to maximising Digital Human assisted conversion and therefore maximising Digital Human Assisted Value.

 

As a team we operate in a fast-moving environment, we’re passionate about our work and we’re delivery focused, we have a fantastic mix of talent and personalities on the team which ensures we’re able to help train new members of the team efficiently and that we have fun whilst doing so. It’s a very exciting time to join us as we embark on the 2nd stage of our digital transformation program.

 

Main duties

  • Working closely with our key stakeholders to identify change and manage a change roadmap.
  • Ensuring any change is prioritised based on customer/business needs
  • Working closely with the IT development team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of new functionality.
  • Working closely with our UX designers to transform new ideas from sketches to prototypes to new customer experiences.
  • Analysis and communication of MI, using various analytics tools and internal MI data.

 

Ideally you will have

  • Strong organisation skills and a proven eye for detail. 
  • A love for problem solving and, when analysing a customer experience and is able to put themselves in the mind of the customer.
  • An understanding of the customer needs and wants to use this to shape the future of our online customer journey.
  • The ability to manage your workload and communicate effectively with Stakeholders from around the business will be essential
  • An inquisitive mind that questions new ways to test, learn and optimise
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at one time
  • Ability to communicate proposed changes to IT development teams and manage priorities efficiently
  • Forward thinking & innovative mindset to consider future possibilities

Desirable (not essential)

  • Comfortable analysing and interpreting data
  • Experience of working in an agile development environment
  • Experience working with technical squads

Salary, Benefits, and Work-Life Balance

We do not have a set salary for this position, as it will be dependent on the successful candidate’s experience. We are happy to see CVs from all candidates who meet the requirements and will be happy to discuss the remuneration package.
