"We are looking for a Commercial Manager with a passion for adding increasing value to join our team. You will be identifying opportunities to increase profitability, business performance, and operational excellence. Our ideal candidate will have a constant awareness of trends and market conditions in the legal and/or insurance sector, to provide strategic advice to senior management.
As a Procurement Manager, you will
- Effectively manage and optimise the ongoing working relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers of the business, ensuring exceptional quality, operational excellence, and value
- Review of products and services to ensure they meet the business’ operational needs and requirements
- Develop and implement market leading strategies to meet company goals and targets through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct ongoing market research and analysis to ensure that the company maintains a strong strategic advantage
- In depth and ongoing review of key operational processes across the business, to identify opportunities to excel in quality and efficiency of service
- Develop a deep understanding of business forecasting models to identify commercial opportunities
- Understand key customer relationships and metrics to support the leadership team in meeting strategic goals
- Identify opportunities for diversification within current and potential future workstreams
Ideally, you will have these skills and experiences:
- Proven track record of driving strong commercial value within complex legal or insurance sector environments
- Working as part of a diverse leadership team
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- The ability to forge, manage and optimise relationships with key stakeholders and business partners
- Performance management, financial, and budgeting processes
- Excellent data literacy skills and a proven track record of making excellent, data driven business decisions
- Strong commercial awareness coupled with a dynamic strategic mindset within the legal or insurance sector
- An understanding of Alternative Dispute Resolution processes
- Solid understanding of market research and analytics
- Project management and presentation skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a proven track record of presenting at senior management and Board level.
- Strategic development and critical thinking skills are needed to assist in setting financial and operational targets, developing budgets, and monitoring compliance
- An understanding and knowledge of the UK Personal Injury market (legal/insurance)
Essential Experience Requirements:
- Experience in managing supplier relationships, including contractual negotiations and obligations
- Proven track record of driving commercial value within a complex organisation

Salary, Benefits, and Work-Life Balance
We do not have a set salary for this position, as it will be dependent on the successful candidate’s experience. We are happy to see CVs from all candidates who meet the requirements and will be happy to discuss the remuneration package.
