Skills, Experience, Qualifications

If you are a creative, innovative, and motivated person, with experience of Pricing within general insurance (Car, Household, Van, Travel, Pet, Fleet etc), we want to hear from you.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Demonstrable experience in a general insurance pricing role is essential
• Proactive and creative approach to taking initiative and getting things done
• Team player with proven ability to collaborate and build relationships
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• An interest in using data to understand the world around you, and the ability to communicate that understanding to a non-technical audience
• Personality and a sense of humour (we believe work should be fun!)

Desirable Skills and Experience

• As a Senior Pricing Analyst, it is desired that you have some coaching/mentoring experience (inside or outside of work)
• If you are seeking a Manager role, a strategic mindset with the ability to inspire and influence others is sought for
• Experience of working with programming packages like SAS and SQL is desirable but not essential
• An interest in data science or big data technologies and some experience in these areas may be considered an advantage but are not mandatory

Desirable Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a STEM field

Location / Working Arrangements

We are open to discussion around remote working possibilities (UK only). We are working in a hybrid approach, with our colleagues spending approx 1 - 2 days per week in the office. We will provide you with everything you need to work comfortably from home, and are open to discussing flexibility on working arrangements. Please do not hesitate in querying this with the Recruitment Officer if needed.

Salary, Benefits and Work-Life Balance

We do not have a set salary for this position, as it will be dependent on the successful candidate’s experience. We are happy to see CVs from all candidates who meet the requirements and will be happy to discuss the remuneration package.
