About the role

Personals Assistant| You will work in partnership with the CEO of Admiral Pioneer to proactively manage her busy schedule and coordinate with the wider Pioneer leadership team and broader stakeholders such as Pioneer Board, Group Board, Admiral Executive team and external stakeholders
Operations Manager | You will oversee and coordinate the operations for the AP team including in conjunction with team leads in People Services, Risk, Finance, Tech services and Procurement:
- Team coordination – day to day queries and updating team on required actions e.g. training, new processes / policies (teaching team to be self-sufficient)
- Liaising with facilities and tech support to ensure Pioneer environments are enabling hybrid working
- Team budget and spend review of operational activities e.g. core operational expenses, travel, training
About you
Knowledge and abilities
In this role attitude and approach is as important as experience. We expect the successful candidate to be.
- Self- motivated and positive - you won’t require much direction
- Great communicator- you can engage at all levels and work effectively with a diverse range of people
- Attention to detail – is critical given the nature of the stakeholders involved and the pace at which we operate
- Resilience – you are able to remain calm under pressure and influence appropriately to manage your workload
Experience
- At least five years of experience as a personal / executive assistant
- Strong track record in operations management in a fast moving, innovative environment
- Strong knowledge of enabling software such as Teams, Zoom, Miro and excel and working with these in a hybrid model
Additional Information
The role will report into the CEO of Admiral Pioneer
Due to Covid, the whole Admiral Pioneer team is working remotely. We will provide you with everything you need to work comfortably from home.
We expect you to be working remotely for the foreseeable future, however, once it is safe to return to the office, we will have days when the whole team comes together to collaborate.

What areas do you look after?
I look after a variety of roles for Admiral Tech, mainly in Delivery, as well as IT roles for AFSL.
Tell us about you and your Admiral story?
I have worked in Admiral for over 20 years, I started in Customer Care and worked my way round various roles in the department. I joined Recruitment looking after the administrator and contractor positions and more recently moved to look after all of IT recruitment within Admiral Tech.
