"As a Motor Claims Risk Executive, you will support Claims in the identification, assessment and management of across a variety of risk types. In addition, you will represent Motor Claims Risk at in meetings, working groups and other forums. Will will accept applications from candidates, who would prefer part time for this position, but also this role can be full time.
You will be confident and proactive in your approach. Engaging with stakeholders in Claims to help embed our risk management framework and other conduct / risk teams, sharing best practice. You will report into the Risk Manager who will provide the guidance and steer for the work and work closely with departments to implement these workstreams. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to enter the world of Risk and Compliance.
Main Duties will include:
- Supporting Claims in the documentation, evaluation and management of our customer outcome risks
- Keeping up to date on current industry thinking and regulatory developments, and facilitate change where needed.
- Developing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships across Claims, Corporate Governance, and other areas of the business as required.
- Providing advice to the department and supporting managers in managing risk in their areas.
- Providing challenge and guidance on relevant projects, and BAU processes to ensure risk management practices and regulatory compliance are embedded within Claims.
- Aiding the development and integration of the Customer Outcome Risk and Operational Risk frameworks across Claims. Both at a departmental level and for Claims as a whole. Maintaining a regular review cycle of these in line with the relevant policy.
- Utilising risk management software to ensure our risks and controls are recorded, maintained and where applicable, reported upon.
- Representing Motor Claims Risk as an SME in projects, such as NEO. Providing advice and challenge, where needed. As well as updating other risk teams on their progress.
- Improving awareness of risk management within Claims, through training, relationship building and engagement.
- Support key stakeholders in the assessment and management of risks, giving clear and concise advice to aid mitigation of the risk.
Person specification:
- The ability to analyse information and develop creative solutions to problems for customers and the business.
- The ability to work proactively, using your own initiative.
- The ability to articulate yourself concisely and effectively, whether in person or in writing.
- The ability to engage with and sometimes challenge stakeholders of all levels.
- You will have an appetite and willingness for learning
- You will need to positively contribute to Admiral’s culture
- Previous experience of working within Claims, Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit/Assurance would benefit but not essential
Salary, Benefits and Work-Life Balance:
