We are looking for a pragmatic and detail orientated individual who is able to combine marketing, technical and data knowledge together to help us achieve our goals.

The aim of this role is to maintain and optimise the technical programmes and data integrations used in ECRM to best suit our marketing needs. Ensuring new processes are properly documented and training administered to the team. Acting as an Adobe Campaign workflow specialist and managing the development pipeline as well as maintaining data feeds.

The ECRM team purpose is to engage customers and prospects with a range of direct marketing campaigns to drive acquisition and cross-sell, improve retention and customer satisfaction, and promote digital adoption across Admiral’s expanding portfolio of products.

Our focus is on email marketing, while also testing new initiatives for channels such as SMS, push notification and Direct Mail, finding the right channel mix for the individual customer journey. We aim to ensure we are contacting the right customers, with the right message, at the right time, via the right channel.

 

As Marketing Implementation Manager, you will:

  • Develop the marketing tools in line with ECRM marketing industry standards and innovations
  • Work with wider ECRM team to ensure campaign workflows and team processes are built utilising best practice
  • Act as SME for tools used within the ECRM team, including Adobe Campaign, Litmus and Infinity
  • Capture and translate business and marketing requirements into technical requirements
  • Review statements of work from third party agencies to ensure requirements align
  • Translate complex technical documentation into easy-to-understand guides and processes to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Understanding and maintaining system integrations with Admiral and third party systems (Guidewire, marketing platforms, Quote Engine, Web Analytics etc)
  • Support onboarding of new products and brands with data requirements, workflow building and integrations
  • Maintain a schedule/roadmap of development work with third party suppliers
  • Act as point of contact for technical suppliers and internal data and IT teams
  • Maintain process documentation, ROPAs and risk registers
  • Understand marketing metrics in order to build standard suite of reports for stakeholder communications
  • Assist with team training on technical tools

 

We are looking for someone with these skills

Marketing

  • Experience creating marketing campaign workflows
  • Understanding of marketing performance MI
  • Understanding of digital marketing technologies and best practice including inbox placement, deliverability, and email client domain specifications

Technical

  • Experience using Adobe Campaign
  • Knowledge of XML & JavaScript
  • Knowledge of HTML & SAS/SQL

Data

  • Understanding of Admiral business priorities to translate into data requirements
  • Experience implementing SOAP APIs
  • Understanding of GDPR and data privacy laws

Project Management

  • Experience gathering and briefing technical requirements
  • Attention to details and note-taking skills to document varied and complex discussions
  • Understanding of project planning tools and techniques
  • Adherence to change management process and best practice
  • Excellent time management skills, accountability for project timelines

Stakeholder management

  • Ability to build the relationships with internal teams and third parties
  • Confidence to challenge assumptions
  • Communication with stakeholders of all technical ability

Salary, Benefits, and Work-Life Balance
