Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Data, and Commercial teams to drive customer-centric innovation
- Define and execute the engineering strategy to scale Veygo over the next 5 years
- Build and support empowered, high-performing engineering teams
- Scale and evolve a cloud-native, distributed architecture with best-in-class observability and automation.
- Embed agentic and independent-agent paradigms into our platform and product capabilities.
- Champion engineering excellence through continuous delivery, clean code, and robust governance.
- Establish and uphold elite standards in security, reliability, and operational excellence
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Deep expertise in engineering high-scale, distributed systems.
- Proven experience working with product, data, design and commercial functions to scale a business and a passion for delivering measurable customer value
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on technical problem-solving.
- Proven experience architecting and operating cloud-native, event-driven platforms (preferably AWS or GCP).
- Demonstrated ability to adopt or pioneer agentic software patterns and orchestrated autonomous systems.
- Strong track record of running cross-functional teams in agile, fast-paced environments.
- Solid understanding of engineering governance, reliability, and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all levels of technical and business stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid setup and supporting distributed teams.
- Lead with humility, curiosity, and a commitment to high standards.
