This is a new and exciting opportunity to join us to develop a strong presence in the over 50s market for Admiral travel insurance. Reporting to the Head of travel, this role has the potential to give full ownership of the P&L for the over 50’s cohort and plan for the future strategic direction of the project. 

Travel is to become a top player in the Market by 2030, with strong goals for growth. This includes growing the core product, optimizing the current product offering and distribution channels, capitalizing on cross-selling opportunities to our existing Admiral customer base, and exploring opportunities in new products and channels. The over 50s market has been identified as a key demographic for growth.

As part of the senior management team you will also be a valued voice in helping to develop our long term strategy.

Main Duties:

  • Understand the customer cohort and develop a value proposition to target them.
  • Strategic planning for the growth of the over 50’s cohort.
  • Develop, communicate, and deliver on a roadmap that provides valuable learnings from tests and implements changes to support growth.
  • Work closely with Marketing to efficiently target these customers and unlock distribution channels for this market.
  • Evaluate and implement changes to servicing of this cohort both offline and digitally.
  • Consider required expansion to the current footprint.
  • Establish robust reporting with key KPIs to track current position, evaluate and communicate changes.

Skills and Attitudes Required:

  • Experience in the over 50s offline marketing.
  • Strategic Planning.
  • Leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and effective communication.
  • Numerical analysis and reporting.
  • Good written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and organized.

Salary, Benefits, and Work-Life Balance

We do not have a set salary for this position, as it will be dependent on the successful candidate’s experience. We are happy to see CVs from all candidates who meet the requirements and will be happy to discuss the remuneration package.
