Graduate Pricing Analyst

We are looking for enthusiastic and aspiring Graduate Pricing Analysts who enjoy working with numbers, to join our International Pricing team.

The Role

Our International Pricing team is based in Cardiff and is responsible for providing support and guidance to our businesses worldwide. Graduates will work together with our colleagues and teams overseas, running pricing models and using statistical tools to understand and analyse the numbers and make proposals to improve the pricing structure in our international operations. Our overseas operations have ambitious growth plans and sharing best practices, innovation, and using knowledge and experience in one country to improve our risk selection and processes in other countries plays a key role to be successful. Graduates who join International Pricing can expect to also work closely with our Admiral Financial Services (AFSL) and Admiral Pioneer entities, with the possibility of transitioning to either entity full-time at a later stage.

Essential skills we're looking for:

• 2.1 or above in a STEM discipline (mathematical desirable)
• Demonstrable ability to combine analytical thinking based on numbers, together with common sense and imagination
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A willingness to dive into detail

Reporting to
In this role, you will work closely with our whole Pricing leadership team and report to one of our Pricing Managers, with fantastic opportunity of being mentored and coached by them and our Senior Pricing Analysts.

We’re a big believer in personal development and preparing you for success in this role as well as your next. We’ll provide a range of on-the-job training as well as other opportunities to learn all the key skills you’ll need. 

We offer a steady career growth path with many of our previous graduates progressing to leadership roles involving regular contact with some of our most senior managers.

Thanks to our business's culture and structure, the skills and experience developed within our Pricing teams would be transferable to other analytical departments as we grow our product portfolio.

Working Arrangements 
While this role is based in our head office in Cardiff, due to the impact of COVID-19, it's likely that you will initially be required to work from home, with your initial training taking place using online collaboration tools. However, going forward, we anticipate that this role will allow you to work partially remotely on a more permanent basis.
