GenAI Senior Product Lead (Transformation)

Are you ready to shape the future of AI in insurance? Admiral Insurance UK is seeking a visionary leader to drive our Generative AI (GenAI) strategy and transformation. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of technology, innovation, and business change.

About the Role

You’ll work closely with our GenAI Transformation Director to define and deliver a strategic roadmap that unlocks the full potential of GenAI across UK Insurance. From reimagining customer and colleague experiences to embedding ethical AI practices, you’ll be instrumental in building scalable, responsible solutions that deliver real value.

Location

Hybrid (Cardiff) preferred, with flexibility to accommodate individual circumstances.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of our GenAI strategy across the enterprise.
• Establish and contribute to a GenAI capability hub to accelerate delivery and adoption.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business, operations, and support functions to identify high-impact use cases.
• Drive the implementation of GenAI solutions from concept to production, ensuring agility, governance, and ethical standards.
• Partner with external experts to stay ahead of emerging technologies and trends.
• Support the Centre of Excellence to position Admiral as a leader in responsible AI adoption.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in technology-led business transformation.
• Strong understanding of GenAI concepts, tools, and implementation approaches.
• Passion for innovation and emerging technologies.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to balance cost and value.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
• Awareness of ethical AI principles, governance, and data privacy.
