"We are looking for an initiative-taking and enthusiastic Marketing Executive to join the ECRM Marketing team. This role will support product promotion by focusing on sales generating cross-sell campaigns for Admiral Travel Insurance.
You will be working as part of the ECRM (Electronic Customer Relationship Management) team in our award-winning Marketing department. Our team purpose is to engage customers with a range of direct marketing campaigns to drive cross-sell, improve retention and customer satisfaction, and promote digital adoption across Admiral’s expanding portfolio of products.
Our focus is on email marketing, while also testing new initiatives for channels such as SMS, push notification and Direct Mail, finding the right channel mix for the individual customer journey. We aim to ensure we are contacting the right customers, with the right message, at the right time, via the right channel.
This role will be a fantastic opportunity to get involved in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and really put your stamp on an expanding portfolio of products.
Responsibilities
As Marketing Executive in ECRM you will:
- Plan, implement and optimise sales generating marketing campaigns for Admiral Travel Insurance, aimed at growing the customer base.
- Review the customer journey to identify areas of improvement and optimisation.
- Monitor performance against target, pro-actively make suggestions to adjust activity when required.
- Maintain monthly reports and manage stakeholder communications.
Main duties
Campaign creation
- Manage the campaign marketing plan for Admiral Travel Insurance.
- Work with Marketing Campaign Manager, Product Marketing teams and Product owners to develop campaign plans to achieve business targets.
- End-to-end campaign delivery, including planning, practical implementation, writing/sourcing copy and consulting with design teams.
- Ensure quality of campaigns are maintained through thorough testing and quality assurance.
Data Management
- Work with regulatory advice, data protection and legal teams in Admiral Group, to ensure campaigns meet FCA, data privacy, consumer duty and ASA requirements.
- Work with the Customer Engagement team to generate ideas for lead generation campaigns.
Reporting
- Performance Monitoring: Drive performance against targets by continuously monitoring and analysing campaign results through reporting tools. Proactively make recommendations to adjust activities to improve performance and achieve business objectives.
- Reporting suites and dashboards: Maintain and create detailed monthly reports on campaign performance at both product and campaign levels. Present results and findings in a digestible format tailored to the target audience, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
Presentation Skills
- Weekly Presentations: The candidate will be expected to present campaign updates, performance metrics, and insights to stakeholders on a weekly basis. This requires the ability to clearly communicate complex data and findings in an engaging and understandable manner.
- Monthly Presentations: In addition to weekly updates, the candidate will also be responsible for delivering more comprehensive monthly presentations. These presentations will cover broader performance reviews, strategic recommendations, and long-term planning. The candidate should be adept at tailoring their presentation style to suit different audiences, ensuring that key messages are effectively conveyed.
- Confidence and Clarity: The candidate must demonstrate confidence and clarity in their presentation skills, ensuring that they can effectively engage with stakeholders, address questions, and provide actionable insights.
Required skills and personal attributes
Marketing
- Marketing knowledge or experience.
- Critical thinking with a data driven approach.
- An interest in influencing consumer behaviour.
- A completer finisher, motivated by understanding customer behaviours and identifying trends.
Technical
- Process and technical aptitude are essential, as this is a specialized digital role within Marketing.
- Experience with using email marketing platforms, preferably Braze or Adobe Campaign.
- Technical knowledge or interest in CRM automation development. Desirable but not essential.
- Interest and experience in email marketing, multi-channel marketing and digital communications.
- Expeirence and knowledge in HTML. Further knowledge and experience in JavaScript and CSS is desirable but not essential.
- Experience in email template building tools such as Litmus is desirable but not essential.
- Understanding or experience in analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Looker.
Stakeholder management
- Excellent communicator; both verbal & written.
- Collaborative nature with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and work with different departments such as graphic design or content.
- Effective relationship management skills e.g., agencies, internal stakeholders.
- Great time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Proactive attitude with the ability to use initiative & generate ideas.
- Experience in presenting findings or insights to stakeholders or colleagues with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Presentation Skills
- The ideal candidate must have proven experience in delivering presentations and be comfortable presenting to stakeholders on a regular basis.

Salary, Benefits, and Work-Life Balance
