About the Role

You’ll be responsible for:

• Defining the scaled distribution strategy and road map for our Small Business proposition
• This will include understanding the customer needs/profile and economics of each potential channel and quickly prioritising the most effective channels
• Tapping into and pre-empting growth of Small Business channels
• Creating and growing strategic alliances and key partnerships within channels such as retail, big tech and affinity groups
• Embedding our insurance products into customer journeys / events through integrated partnerships and new ecosystems and open (API) marketplaces for example neo banks, accounting software, ecommerce and payments partners,  
• Using distribution insights to feed into the design and enhancement of our small business propositions
• Working closely with our Growth Marketing Lead to create long term growth strategy for Small Business.

About You

Experience and Skills We Are Looking For

 (we’d expect you to have about two thirds of these):

• Execution excellence in creating and growing digital & data driven distribution partnerships
• Ideally experience in the fintech / insurtech sector in a distribution or similar role
• Passionate about a career in a start-up or scale-up with proven capability to work in a fast paced and always shifting environment
• Very comfortable with open data / API partnerships as well as more traditional white label arrangements
• Understands the shifts in economics of distribution and how to optimise these
• Commercially and entrepreneurially minded, with a bias for action to test and learn in market
• Used to collaborating with product, design, marketing and tech teams
• Experienced with business that are powered through technologies using agile ways of working and centred around customer led design.
• Able to act early on opportunities that we see emerging.

Additional Information

Due to Covid, the whole Admiral Pioneer team is working remotely. We will provide you with everything you need to work comfortably from home.

We expect you to be working remotely for the foreseeable future, however, once it is safe to return to the office, we will have days when the whole team comes together to collaborate. You can decide if you want to come to the office between 2-5 days per week.
