"A exciting new opportunity has arisen in Veygo for a Data & MI Manager to join the Data and Pricing team. Reporting into the Head of Data & Pricing, you will manage and develop an existing team whilst ensuring high standards are met and maintained throughout the department.

Veygo is an independent company within Admiral Pioneer, a new business within Admiral Group with the objective of seeding, launching, and scaling start-ups.
Veygo is at the forefront of the Mobility as a Service (MaaS) revolution and is growing fast. We want to make life easier for those wishing to share cars, use their own temporarily, or for learner drivers looking to practice in a family member’s or friends’ car. In short, we want to help people be able to get behind the wheel of a car, even if they don’t own one.
Responsibilities
As Data & MI Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining high levels of data accuracy, data quality and data usability across all of Veygo.
- Assessing the usefulness of external and internal data sources, and implementing solutions and managing partnerships with data vendors.
- Maintain good data governance, ensuring that data is both stored and used in line with regulations.
- Pro-actively providing thought leadership and insights to support growth opportunities, loss ratio improvements and strategic decision making.
- Highly visible presence across the business, integral to decision making forums and stakeholders ensuring Veygo is making data and customer led decisions.
- Own and manage a portfolio of change and improvement ideas with growth performance and strategic deliverables as a focus.
- Management and Development of other members of the team.
- Ensuring the team is highly visible and continuously providing insights and growth opportunities.
- Operates as a business partner to key internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborating with peers in pricing, data and with stakeholders from all relevant areas of the business.
Requirements
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills supported by a solid academic and work background
- Experience of coding language. Preferably with Veygo’s analytical tools (Tableau, SQL and Python)
- Willingness to learn from the bottom up and put in the time to acquire the necessary technical skills
- Proactive and creative approach to taking initiative and getting things done
- Team player with proven ability to collaborate and build relationships

Salary, Benefits and Work-Life Balance
We do not have a set salary for this position, as it will be dependent on the successful candidate’s experience. We are happy to see CVs from all candidates who meet the requirements and will be happy to discuss the remuneration package.

Tell us about you and your Admiral story?
I joined Admiral in October 2020 as a Renewals Consultant. I dealt directly with Renewals queries and then moved into the Customer Value team, dealing with mid-term customers and upselling Multi Product. During my time in the Contact Centres, I helped with Volume Recruitment from time to time, and this prompted me to pursue a full-time role in recruitment, which I started in March 2022.
