"To support the Regulatory & Remediation team by producing accurate, timely, and insightful data relating to risk events, and by contributing to the review and validation of regulatory reports. The role ensures that data definitions and outputs meet internal standards and external regulatory expectations, enabling effective risk management and compliance. The analyst will work closely with stakeholders across the business to interpret data requirements, maintain data integrity, and support continuous improvement in regulatory reporting processes.
Main Duties
- Produce accurate and timely data relating to risk events for internal and regulatory use.
- Validate and review regulatory reports to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to understand and interpret data requirements.
- Maintain data integrity by identifying and resolving inconsistencies or anomalies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in regulatory reporting processes and data quality.
- Monitor and analyse risk event trends to provide insights that support effective risk management.
- Support development of reporting and dashboards to manage regulatory and risk data.
- Stay informed of regulatory changes and assess their impact on data and reporting requirements.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven ability to interpret, analyse, and present complex data sets.
- Strong programming skills in SQL, SAS, Big Query, Python, or similar languages.
- Methodical approach to problem-solving and debugging.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Effective time and resource management.
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements and remediation processes.
- Operational knowledge of the business and its data landscape.
