Culture and Communications Manager
We are seeking a highly-motivated individual to support the delivery and embedding of regulatory change.This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join a small, but effective team with responsibility for the delivery of regulatory change within EUI.
Introduction to the Regulatory Change Team:
We’re responsible for leading activity relating to regulatory developments for EUI. We review and analyse proposed regulation from the FCA, and help shape response to consultations, where appropriate. When new regulation is issued, we carry out analysis to determine what change will be required to meet the requirements and then work closely with the business to implement the necessary change. We closely monitor the changing regulatory environment and support our senior managers to understand what these changes mean for their areas of accountability.
Job Purpose/Main Responsibilities
Over the last year, the team has led the implementation of the Consumer Duty Project and we continue to focus on embedding the delivery of good customer outcomes across EUI. We need an enthusiastic & resilient individual to support the Head of Regulatory Change with this ongoing implementation and to support on new regulatory change.
You will have need knowledge of how the business works both on a support and operational level (experience in both a support and operational department is preferred). Your key focus will be delivering and embedding cultural change, regulatory awareness, and ensuring engagement with the requirements set out by the FCA.
You will be required to:
- build strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels (especially SMs)
- consult on regulatory change initiatives.
- run workshops with various areas of the business to help them understand how the change will impact them.
- develop the strategy for comms and training.
- support the implementation of frameworks.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Commercially aware, forward-thinking, and detail-oriented with strategic insight
- Self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative, with integrity and enthusiasm
- Excellent written and verbal communication, tailored to diverse audiences
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, able to build trust across all levels
- Effective decision-making and logical problem-solving abilities
- Strong time management, able to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
- Skilled in prioritisation and delegation within limited resources
- Proven people management experience, including coaching and mentoring
- Track record of leading strategic projects and managing multiple stakeholders
- Experienced in implementing change and driving continuous improvement
- Strong project management and operational experience
- Deep understanding of EUI’s business lines, commercial context, and challenges
