About the First Notification of Loss (FNOL) Department
Claims is the beating heart of any insurance business, and at Admiral it's no different. Our Motor Claims Department is the largest in the company, with over 2,000 dedicated Claims Handlers committed to providing outstanding customer service. Every claim is different, and our dedicated teams are always on hand to help customers through every step of the claims process.
Should you be successful, you will be the initial contact for customers who have experienced an incident. Our main purpose is to provide reassurance while accurately recording the details of the incident. We evaluate vehicle damage and make decisions to facilitate a prompt claims process. We provide a fast and efficient service for our customers through both telephone and digital platforms.
As a member of our FNOL team, you can expect to:
- Communicate with customers via telephone, email, or webchat
- Provide a first-class service, displaying compassion and empathy when our customers need us most.
- Make a difference, whether this is through speaking to customers or making the workplace an even better place to be.
- Receive and process incoming claims notifications from customers.
- Collect and verify essential information related to the claim.
- Provide clear and accurate information to customers regarding the claims process.

What to expect next?
Here's what happens next: First, we'll review your application. If it looks good, we’ll give you a call for a quick chat. Pass that, and you'll come to our office to meet the team. During this visit, you'll get a feel for our culture, learn about the Claims Handler role and FNOL department, and have a face-to-face interview. The face-to-face interviews will be held on 19th and 21st August, please ensure you are available for both dates.

Tell us about you and your Admiral story?
My Admiral journey began 9 years ago in the Renewals Department where I progressed to Senior, before taking a career break to go travelling for 6 months (an amazing Admiral perk). When I returned I joined our People Services department in the Governance team, which was a great opportunity to work in the Business Support side of the business and help develop a newly established team, before starting my current role in Recruitment.
