"We’re looking for a Veterinary Specialist to join our Pet Claims Business! This is an exciting and dynamic department, that is in need of an experienced Veterinary professional to help support us during this time of growth and innovation. This role would be perfect for an experienced Vet Nurse or Veterinary Specialist who is looking to progress their career within the insurance sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Veterinary and technical support to our claims provider and will support the department in ensuring we follow industry best practice & internal group policy in our dealings with our customers and vet practices, as well as maximising the benefits that these suppliers bring to the business.
As a Veterinary Specialist you will;
- Review Veterinary claims and provide support/guidance to our claims provider in assessing veterinary claims for our Pet Insurance business.
- Work on supplier/Partner quality control and deal with relevant feedback, complaints and queries in relation to Pet Claims.
- Interact with our stakeholders to seek feedback upon the performance of Vet Groups and our 3rd party claims provider.
- Support the development and ongoing ownership of suite of MI for Technical Pet Claims.
- Input into the strategic development of our product proposition and customer journey within the market
- Provide insight on industry challenges and cost control schemes
Ideally you will have
- A qualification within Veterinary science (or similar field).
- The ability to communicate effectively to suppliers and internal stakeholders alike
- The ability to work with a high level of autonomy
- Excellent organisational skills and proficient analytical skills
- Experience within a financial services environment

Salary, Benefits, and Work-Life Balance
We do not have a set salary for this position, as it will be dependent on the successful candidate’s experience. We are happy to see CVs from all candidates who meet the requirements and will be happy to discuss the remuneration package.
