Underwriter - Pioneer

We are currently expanding the Insurance team and are looking for an individual to join and support the continued growth and development of the small business proposition - a digital, flexible and innovative proposition.

This is a perfect role for an Underwriter or Underwriting Assistant looking for the next challenge and an opportunity to join an exciting new venture.

The Small Business team

Responsibilities 

As Underwriter you will: 

• Administer policy management systems.
• Provide technical assistance on underwriting matters.
• Involvement in the creation and ongoing development of policy wordings and documents.
• Engage with the Governance Team to ensure we are compliant with internal process and regulatory requirements to deliver a customer centric proposition.
• Support Admiral Pioneer’s culture by demonstrating a ‘can-do’ approach.

Requirements 

The successful candidate will ideally have: 

• Have some knowledge of SME Package insurance.
• Previous involvement with wording and documentation production.
• Experience in supporting with developing, administering and monitoring underwriting rules and guidelines.
• The ability to think differently in a high energy, challenging and Agile environment.

We do not have a set salary for this position, as it will be dependent on the successful candidate’s experience. We are happy to see CVs from all candidates who meet the requirements and will be happy to discuss the remuneration package.

Additional Info 

Due to Covid-19 the whole Admiral Pioneer team is working remotely. We will provide you with everything you need to work comfortably from home. We expect you to be working remotely for the foreseeable future, however, after it's safe to return to the office, we have days when the whole team comes together. You can choose how many days you can be in the office as long as we see your face from time to time.
