The Transformation Lead will play a pivotal role in driving organisational change at Admiral, initially focusing on guiding the organisation through our Evolution Programme of work and beyond.  As already underway via Evolution, this will include further evolving the Target Operating Model towards a product focused, multi-disciplined, scaled agile structure.  Providing clearer ownership and empowerment to deliver value, a higher degree of delivery certainty and clearer delivery outcomes, aligned prioritisation and more accurate measurement of delivery outcomes. 

This critical role oversees that Evolution initiatives align with our key strategic goals and embeds fully in our mindset and culture, allowing Admiral to deliver value continuously and efficiently to customers while simultaneously building upon the quality of our products and services and promoting sustainable growth.

Main Duties

The Transformation Lead will focus on the following areas:

Change: Accountable for the inflight Evolution Programme until closure and evolving the Target Operating Model to build more efficient ways of working among cross functional teams.

Leadership: Provide strong leadership and direction to the Programme Teams and beyond, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Strategy & Benefits: Develop and oversee a transformation strategy that aligns with Admiral's goals and objectives, while establishing metrics to track progress and effectiveness.

Agile Culture: Support the embedding of organisational agility and drive forward initiatives to bolster agile culture and practices among leadership and delivery teams.

Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks and challenges across the programme of work and beyond.

Defining Objectives: Collaborate with leadership teams to define technical change objectives and key results for agile transformation initiatives.

Resource Allocation: Identify and secure the people and tools required to support define and deliver transformation initiatives.

Experience Required

The Transformation Lead must have the following experience and skills:

  • Previous experience defining strategy and leading organisational design of cross functional departments and services around the delivery of value.
  • Change management expertise and experience leading and delivering large scale programmes programme initiatives from inception through to completion.
  • Proficient in SAFe and Agile methodologies, with the aptitude to re-envisage our delivery framework and model based on Admiral's requirements.
  • Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels.
  • Possess exceptional leadership skills and demonstrate the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Have knowledge of the insurance and/or financial services industry and products.

Salary, Benefits, and Work-Life Balance

We do not have a set salary for this position, as it will be dependent on the successful candidate’s experience. We are happy to see CVs from all candidates who meet the requirements and will be happy to discuss the remuneration package.
