Mortgages Test Analyst Originations and Automation

Admiral Money is a growing financial services business and is on track to become a strategic pillar within the Admiral Group. We have a vacancy for a Senior Test Analyst to join us in the mortgages team.

Launching unsecured personal loans in June 2017, we have gone from strength to strength with two other product lines launched in more recent years – motor finance & second charge mortgages.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Test Analyst to join our mortgages team. This role involves developing and maintaining test artefacts, executing test scopes, and enhancing test automation to ensure robust software releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Safeguard against defects and testing-related risks.
• Collaborate with test teams, stakeholders, and suppliers.
• Engage in requirements refinement and create high-quality test artefacts.
• Execute functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Identify and expand test automation.
• Maintain and expand automated test suites.
• Report and manage defects, ensuring accurate documentation and resolution.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and defect triage calls.
• Provide progress updates and highlight risks to stakeholders.

Key Competencies

• Expertise in Mortgages Originations and related testing areas.
• Proficiency in automated testing using Playwright, TypeScript, JSON, and JavaScript.
• Ability to analyze complex requirements and determine suitable test coverage.
• Experience with API testing and financial calculations validation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to simplify technical information.

Desirable Experience

• Knowledge of 2nd charge mortgages and mortgage servicing.
• Experience with Phoebus mortgage servicing system, Xray test management tool, Postman, Amazon Connect, BrowserStack, and Confluence.
• Cross-browser/device testing and accessibility testing.
