The Role: International Pricing Manager Intern – SPARK Leadership Programme

The ideal SPARK Leadership candidate possesses both analytical and managerial qualities, combining curiosity with logical and creative thinking, and great interpersonal skills.

SPARK interns will join a multi-national team and work on an exciting and strategic project in the field of Data or Analytics. The scope of the project will be tailored to your experience and interests.

Projects could include supporting the launch of new products, researching new technologies, exploring new data sources, deep-diving into country-specific challenges or sharing knowledge across countries to solve complex problems.

SPARK Leadership interns will also have the chance to learn about other areas of our business, meet with senior leaders, and present their project at C-Suite level.

Those who are successful during the internship will be offered the opportunity to join us as International Pricing Managers (IPM) through the SPARK Leadership Programme. Location

You will need to be based in either the UK, France, Spain, or Italy for the duration of the internship, and have the right to work in that country. We allow flexible working, but to get the most out of the internship we encourage time to be spent in one of our offices, in Paris, Rome, Seville or Cardiff. We will arrange for you to visit our Cardiff HQ at least once, so that you can meet the team in person.

Specific requirements

• MBA candidate at a top business school
• Strong quantitative skills supported by a solid academic and work background
• A strategic mindset, as demonstrated by previous experience (this could be in consulting, strategic project management or analysis, working with senior managers, etc)
• Working proficiency in French, Spanish or Italian

Desirable traits and attributes

• Proactive and creative approach to taking initiative and getting things done
• Team player who can build relationships across functions and geographies
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to inspire and influence others
• Experience of leading and mentoring others
• Previous experience in data science, big data technologies, insurance pricing or fraud detection are an advantage
• A positive outlook and a sense of humour - we believe work should be fun!
