The Recovery team in Household Claims have an exciting opportunity for someone to join their hardworking team. The Recovery team are responsible for identifying and pursuing claims that have potential prospects of us being able to recover money we pay out on claims.

If you are enthusiastic, hard working, keen to learn and have a natural understanding of claims then this could be the role for you.

Team

  • Maintain a good working relationship with all teams within the department
  • Support the department to achieve the recovery goals.
  • Ensure all process and procedures are reviewed and adhered to and communicate feedback to the department
  • Able to demonstrate experience of exceeding existing core roles and responsibilities

Performance

  • Be able to adapt in a constantly changing environment.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude to work.
  • Adhere to company procedures as outlined in the ‘Big Book’
  • Embrace the companies ‘Core Competencies’
  • Promote the Admiral Culture and strive to improve the working environment
  • Be able to work under pressure and to achieve set daily / monthly targets
  • Ensure claims are accurately reserved throughout the recovery lifecycle
  • Undertake team projects when required.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities where improvements can be made to the customer journey and cost control.

Customer

  • Undertake phone duties as required
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication with all customers & stakeholders
  • Able to demonstrate customer customer customer approach

Development

  • Be a referral point for recovery queries
  • Able to demonstrate ownership of own personal development
  • Stay up to date will all legal aspects of recoveries

Skills

  • A practical knowledge base of recoveries procedures
  • The ability to communicate effectively
  • Attention to detail
  • Pro-active claims management and negotiation
  • Demonstrate the ability to take a proactive approach to dealing with representatives
  • Ability to work autonomously and seek further opportunities
  • Adaptable to change

Experience

  • Minimum of 12 months experience working in a claims related role
  • Previous experience in a liability/recovery role is preferable but not essential
  • Abe to demonstrate strong negotiation skills to achieve positive outcomes

Qualifications Required

  • Good educational background
  • Legal qualifications or equivalent is preferable but not essential

We do not have a set salary for this position, as it will be dependent on the successful candidate’s experience. We are happy to see CVs from all candidates who meet the requirements and will be happy to discuss the remuneration package.
