"Background:
Household has ambitious and important growth targets for ‘Household Double Up’ and plays a key role within the Diversification Strategy. Household Product is a key enabler to delivering this.
We are looking for someone to join the team who wants to develop themselves technically and professionally whilst making an impact within the Household department and the entire Admiral business.
Responsibilities:
As a Product Manager or Product Executive you will be responsible for the performance of Household Products and Ancillaries which includes:
- Managing the product performance, making commercial outcomes, and creating business cases.
- Creating the overall vision of a product and setting the strategy, whilst creating a roadmap to execute this.
- You will be responsible for market research and will identify problems and make recommendations for improvements which meet customer needs.
- You will build key skills in Project Management, Product Development, MI analysis and Stakeholder Management. You will also practice Design Led Thinking and strategic planning.
- You will work closely with Household Pricing and Ancillaries to maximise the sales volumes of the existing ancillary products.
- Working with the Product Lead to prioritise and manage IT related change
- Responsibility of the relevant management information (MI) and the communication to peers and senior management alike.
- Proactively identify potential business risks within the household product area and manage controls for these risks.
- Identify new areas of growth for Household, related insurance products and add-ons.
- Where appropriate, be responsible for the creation of new products and their associated business plans.
Requirements:
You will ideally have;
- A commercial mindset and spot opportunities or issues.
- Experience in stakeholder management, including third party relationships.
- Able to assess the potential impact of emerging issues and opportunities and how to apply them in a business context.
- Experience in numerical analysis and reporting.
- Have or gain an understanding of IT systems and processes as well as operational areas.
- Should be knowledgeable but also open to new ideas and options to innovate.
- Good knowledge of the Household insurance market would be beneficial.

Salary, Benefits and Work-Life Balance
We do not have a set salary for this position, as it will be dependent on the successful candidate’s experience. We are happy to see CVs from all candidates who meet the requirements and will be happy to discuss the remuneration package.
