"Head of Veygo
Veygo is a new business at the forefront of the Mobility as a Service (MaaS) revolution, providing transport solutions for customers with and without cars. We want to make life easier for those wishing to share cars, use their own temporarily, or for learner drivers looking to practice in a family member’s or friends’ car. In short, we want to help people be able to get behind the wheel of a car, even if they don’t own one.
Our journey started in 2016 and it has been a challenging and exciting few years to disrupt the sector and show that tech allows us to provide great products, and in a way that is in line with the modern-day lifestyle. About Admiral Pioneer

About the role Head of Veygo
You will be responsible for Veygo, it’s business strategy and leading the team ensuring the products we offer and our roadmap align with our core customers.
Veygo helps young customers (17-25yr olds) gain freedom by learning to drive and then allowing them to borrow friends and family members cars. You will be responsible for moving Veygo into and through a Scale-up. It will be your responsibility to continuously innovate around our customers current and future needs. This will be achieved through improvements, taking advantage of technology changes and making radical changes to our product ranges.

About You
We Are looking for someone who is passionate and motivated to scale the Veygo business to greatness. You must have experience within the Mobility domain, having led product and/or marketing teams using ‘ethnographic research’.
Using your leadership skills to maintain collaborative working and an innovative culture within Veygo. The Head of Veygo will be part of the Mobility Domain Leadership team, navigate the strategic direction alongside other new business initiatives as well as drive innovation within Veygo.
Knowledge and Abilities
- Proven growth or scale up expertise with the ability to transition a start-up business into scale up to deliver 10x profit over the next 5 years
- Proven record of utilising new distribution channels, harnessing digital journey and data capabilities, to service directly and digitally first to our customers
- Knowledge of the Mobility ecosystem and vision for new mobility opportunities
- A strong desire to positively impact or make a market, not copy what exists today
- A natural leader with the ability to envision, articulate, and scale the business
- A proven track record of creating a great team, spotting talents and making people better
- Familiar and comfortable with a customer-first ‘ethnographic research’ approach to product and proposition creation
- Depth of design, marketing, data, and technology skills making you a strong business leader
- Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills with diverse audiences and a desire to work within a fast-paced and dynamic team environment
- An ability to initiate a compelling vision and use this to mobilise stakeholders around it
- A hands-on approach and desire to work operationally to shape and add value to the business
Experience
- Deep experience of customer-centric design and enhancing and scaling compelling products and propositions
- Experience in business development/partnership development
- Previous experience within Mobility and/or transportation domain
- Ideally prior experience in leading a financial service product
- A demonstrated track record of scaling a business product
- Lead start-up/scale-up businesses and/or have deep experience as part of a founding team
Additional Information
Due to Covid, the whole Admiral Pioneer team is working remotely. We will provide you with everything you need to work comfortably from home.
We expect you to be working remotely for the foreseeable future, however, once it is safe to return to the office, we will have days when the whole team comes together to collaborate. You can decide if you want to come to the office between 2-5 days per week.

I look after a variety of roles for Admiral Tech, mainly in Delivery, as well as IT roles for AFSL.

I have worked in Admiral for over 20 years, I started in Customer Care and worked my way round various roles in the department. I joined Recruitment looking after the administrator and contractor positions and more recently moved to look after all of IT recruitment within Admiral Tech.
