"An exciting opportunity has arisen within Admiral Financial Services Ltd (AFSL) for a Financial Crime Data Analyst within the Customer Fulfilment Team. This role requires you to bring an inquisitive mindset to a rapidly evolving business area that aims to mitigate financial crime risk whilst ensuring a great customer onboarding experience.
The successful candidate will be a good communicator who will work with internal and external stakeholders whilst supporting strategic projects within customer fulfilment. We are a small team currently working remotely, so you will be confident in bringing your initiative to this new and exciting role and not afraid to voice your ideas to help set the change agenda.
Role Responsibilities
- Progressing financial crime change projects through to implementation.
- Acting as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Produce insight and analysis to assess the viability of new fraud detection products and processes.
- Provide a wide range of analytical work to support the wider acquisition function.
- Create and update the documentation to support existing and new products.
- Assist with the integration and migration of data services as our systems evolve.
- Support the delivery of the Financial Crime Risk Management Framework.
Required Skills and Experience
- An interest and experience in extracting and manipulating data using SAS/SQL, Python and R (or similar data tools).
- A keen eye for detail and an inquisitive mindset.
- An ability to manage and prioritise multiple pieces of work concurrently.
- Confident in interacting with a range of internal and external stakeholders and suppliers.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work as processes and systems evolve.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- An interest and experience in coding.
- An understanding of financial crime legislation and regulatory compliance within financial services.
- Experience in fraud systems and controls, notably SIRA, CIFAS and iovation.
Additional Information
Due to COVID, the AFSL team is working remotely. We will provide you with everything you need to work comfortably from home. We expect you to be working remotely for the foreseeable future. However, once it is safe to return to the office, we will have days when the whole team comes together to collaborate. You can decide if you want to come to the office between 2-5 days per week.
We envisage that the interview process will be completed between the 10th-13th August. However, if you are unavailable on these dates we will do our best to accommodate another day.
